Using Crunchafi/Strongbox Data Extraction on a Rightworks Hosted Environment
This article applies to customers who use Rightworks cloud hosting to access QuickBooks Desktop.
Requirements
If your firm sent you a secure URL to connect Crunchafi/Strongbox with QuickBooks Desktop on a Rightworks Hosted Environment, refer to the information below before continuing with the connection.
- Per Rightworks, the Application Cloud Level Subscription is required.
- To connect your QuickBooks Desktop file, the Crunchafi/Strongbox Connect plug-in needs to be downloaded onto your Rightworks Hosted Environment.
- While the plug-in is downloading in your Rightworks Hosted Environment, all users must be completely logged out of the Rightworks environment.
- You must be an Administrator on the QuickBooks Desktop file to make the connection with Crunchafi/Strongbox.
- Before completing your call with Rightworks, confirm that the secure URL your firm sent you is safe-listed on the Rightworks Hosted Environment.
After Crunchafi/Strongbox Connect Plug-In is Installed
- From your Rightworks Hosted Environment, open the secure URL shared by your firm.

Open the QuickBooks Desktop file as the Admin user.
